TAG: 7 Random Things About Me

I was tagged by my EX co-worker/friend... sha.. wait she will kill me if I type what I really call her soooo we shall say... @ConvertingMe of Converting a Spendthrift. :) I have been racking my brain as to what I can say about me! :)


From what I understand of the rules: I am to list 7 random things about yourself and answer a couple of questions. 




1. I have an addiction to Cafe World game on Facebook. It is almost shameful that I play this game so much but I do. I will play for hours on end like I have nothing else to do. (OKAY I know I stole this but it is sooo true for me!) PS-- can you plz find me, friend me, neighbor me, and send me stuff?! :) LOL



2. I am half mexican and WISH I could speak spanish. Sometimes I listen to spanish radio stations and pretend to know what they are saying. It sucks because I can't even have a conversation with my 100 year old great- grandmother since she ONLY speaks spanish! :'(  

3. I am from Cali!! I wish I stayed... sometimes I feel like I wouldn't have gained so much weight if I stayed there.... but I still love myself regardless.... it's just an observation. In Cali there is a smoothie king, starbucks, something healthy on EVERY corner as opposed to DC where there is a nail shop, liquor store, and corner store (chinese, anything and everything FRIED) on EVERY CORNER! grrr...... 




4. I have the WORST road rage EVER!!!!!!!!! I swear that my whole persona changes when I am behind the wheel. I acknowledge and am working on it..... #justsayin




 5. I have lived on my own for almost 10 years and I will be living near my mom for the first time in 10 YEARS! I don't know how I feel about it yet.... excited... but nervous at the same time! :)

6. I like being a girl. I am still the BIGGEST tomboy ever. I LOVE being outside and "tinkering" LOL but I have a new found love of makeup, haircare, clothes, etc. It is crazy when I look back at where I was and where I am now...

7.  I LOVE heels, but I feel like I don't walk in them "sexy"enough so I secretly practice ALL the time infront of the mirror at home... and pretend that I am uber sexy and get it IN! :)

OMG... How COuld I forget! I CUT MY HAIR

How could I NOT share my haircut with you all. I am so sorry!!! It has been 2 weeks. I cut off so much hair and had it thinned out. My hair was so heavy I had constant headaches.  ANYWAY! I used my heat pass for the month and I got to see how long my hair really was! It was longer then I thought it was!

So on a much better note, I love the fact that my hair was so straight that I almost never wanted to wear my hair curly again! SO I am fighting with myself about using heat or not.... I don't know. Either way, enjoy the pics! :)


PS-- I saw some new makeup looks that I want to try!

My Phone has been DESTROYED

Okay so Let me begin by saying It's not my fault. Those that know me... know that I am not GREAT with phones at all.... BUT I loved this phone SO MUCH that I have not needed to replace it for almost a YEAR!!! I was so proud of myself! I was so excited. I can't explain to you how I knew that I was about to break my phone BUT I somehow knew.

From the beginning, my friend had a funeral to go to yesterday and I picked up her son (3 years old) from day care. We then went to go pick up my son from daycare. When I was standing in the daycare struggling to greet my son, keep my "other son" from running away to play with new toys, AND having to sign the paper for receipts etc. I realized I do NOT have pockets on these pants. DAG I should have left my phone in the car.... Oh well we are here now.. deal with it... So I gather all of my things and retreat to the car. My "other son" went to open the gate and I said pull he is pushing... I say let me help... his reply: NO I CAN DO IT... So I was like okay it is important for him to learn... after 3 unsuccessful attempts I step in... he then stepped back bumps into me....

NOW in that split second I had a decision to make.... drop my child (non walking at that) OR drop the best phone I have ever had and risk it breaking....

you tell me what decision I made: 

 I am not made but I am blown to learn there is a $100 deductible to get a new phone, I can't see ANYTHING on the screen, I am struggling to remember what apps I had on my phone, what numbers did I save to the phone. HOPING that the important numbers are saved to my Gmail as a back up....

WELL we shall see when I get a new phone... Until than... my calls have been redirected. 

Miserable until my replacement appears:

PS-- If I have MORE trouble with my new phone I am going to rethink my contract with Sprint. #justsaying

Something New, Something Blue...

Okay so I am not getting married or anything BUT I did buy a new make up palette!!! I am in LOVE.... let me tell you!!! I just had to wear something that target my inner rocker but tone is down to a mear office worker.... I am not sure I accomplished a great balance BUT hey I love my outfit! :)

I LOVE these colors and they are SO pigmented it is crazy!

I wore some black crops with black flip flops ( I have the perfect heels but between my son and being behind my desk all day... it wasn't worth my feet hurting) ANYWAY... I wore this shirt that I have had for almost 2 years now?! Never knew how to wear it and look flattering.... I like the way ti looked today! :) I will do a Youtube video on the product soon.... Enjoy the pics below...

Quick Post: Update on Life in General

Hello everyone!

I have been SUPER busy these past few weeks! I have been searching for a daycare for my son and anyone looking for day care knows how time consuming and stressful that is!

Anyway, my grandmother passed away (RIP) but I am glad because she is no longer suffering! Either way I am glad that she got to meet my son and I got to see her one last time...

On a more positive note, I have been feeling like a bum because I have not been working out like I should! SOMETHING keeps coming up but I have been staying busy!

I just wanted to post a quick update! I am thinking of making a new video... just can't think of a topic....

1. I am new to "me". When I was on maternity leave I had A LOT of time on my hands and that is when I officially discovered Sephora. I wore make up before than but not with the same passion that I do now! :)

2. I recently found out that I had 3 more sisters and I went to go meet them for the first time 2 years ago and now we are like best friends! I *heart* my sisters!

3.If I could go to college again, I would go for child psychology or child development instead of business. 

4. Since I DID go to school for business I want to Master in Project Management and get my CMP certification

5. I am way too organized!!! OCD Organized

6. I hate when people are on time-- come early like 15 minutes so everything can start on time and you walking in the door at the starting time is late because you still have to get settled down! 

7. I have 3 tattoos (wrist, chest, back) but I want a half sleeve (but I don't see that happening) 

8. I have issues with my feet! I wear a size 8.5 sometimes 9 and my MOM wears a 7 so she thinks my feet are HUGE so I always thought my feet were too big

9. I love being a mom BUT i hate all of the unwanted advice. It has helped me learn to control my facial expressions though.... 


10. I love random sayings.... Turn that frown upside down, tomorrow is another day, I see said the blind man to his deaf girlfriend.....
